La Kaffa's (2732) revenue was NT$368 million in July. Due to these three months, sales hit record high over NT$300 million. Moreover, reporting record quarterly net profits of NT$45.68 million for the second quarter. Sales increased 104.9% and 207.3% compared to that of last quarter. EPS- Earnings Per Share was NT$1.23.
For the second half of 2018, La Kaffa led by tea drink industry, the new market targets Europe and Central and South America. Besides, Kingza, a subsidiary of La Kaffa, will raise 23 stores compared last year. Sales will be grown its expections of revenue.
La Kaffa's sales report in July increased 16.4% compared to that of last month and 65% compared to that of last year. The sales was NT$2.09 billion from January to July. Annual growth rate became 58.4%.
Chatime, the most important barnd of La Kaffa, developed to bulid many new branches in July, such as Taipei city of Taiwan, Prague city of Czech, Prince Edward Island of Canada, Mauritius in East Africa, Mexico in America, Musée du Louvre and La Vallee Village outlet in French, etc. Meanwhile, Relight Group in China, a subsidiary of La Kaffa, opened many stores of Heilongtang and GOMAX brands. Relight occupied China market share upward. Osaka Ohsho Taiwan had a new restaurant in Kaohsiung as well. All of these hit record high for a new peak.
Food and drinks business is the peak period of the third quarter. Due to past sales report, revenue in the second half of 2018 is better than the first half of a year. In Q1, La Kaffa invested Kingza company to extand his business. In the other side, Infinite Plus Pty. Ltd in Australia, the other subsildiary of La Kaffa, started his business in restaurant industry this year. Infinite Plus plans to bulid new reatsurants extensions for increasing revenue. The expection of the second half of 2018 is positive.
In Q2, Chatime bulit Musée du Louvre branch, the first Asian brand opening there, to raise La Kaffa reputation in Europe. Relight Group plans to achieve double-digit growth stores this year.
Kingza focus on three brands, Wagokoro Tonkatsu Anzu Ginza Taiwan, Duan Chun Zhen beef noodle and Osaka Ohsho Taiwan. Infinite Plus will follow Kingza operational model to to gain local restaurant and drink market share.
