Restaurant chain group La Kaffa International, one of the sightseeing stocks (TAIEX: 2732) and expanding worldwide under the handmade drink brand of “Chatime”, announced its revenues for last month. Their combined revenue in May was 322 million NTD, equaling a 10.62% MoM and 78.32% YoY. Combined revenues for January to May was 1.4 billion NTD and equals a 58.62% YoY, creating another peak figure in the company’s history.
Benefited by the merger in the beginning of the year and the acceleration of its global expansion, the excellent performance of La Kaffa International from the last month can be attributed to “heat”. With high temperatures continuing for days, the operation of its core business also heated up and brought in an outstanding performance.
To prepare well for the arrival of the tea drinking season during the summer vacation, La Kaffa International is actively expanding the business of its core brand “Chatime” worldwide. In May, the Showtime store at Shulin, New Taipei City, Dallas store in the USA, Prague store in Czech Republic, Tachikawa store in Tokyo, Aeon store in Cambodia and Sydney and Melbourne stores in Australia were launched with the motto of “conquer the three continents of Europe, America and Asia with a cup of bubble tea”.
